Clubs and Extracurriculars

After School Athletics Club

The After School Athletics Club at Schoolfield provides students with a fun and structured environment to stay active after the regular school day. It offers opportunities for children to learn and practice different sports, develop teamwork and sportsmanship, improve physical fitness, and build confidence through games and activities. The club encourages healthy habits, cooperation, and a love for physical activity in a supportive, inclusive setting.

Good News Club

Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission. At Schoolfield, all students have the opportunity to meet after school for this ministry. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme.

Links STEM Club

The Danville Chapter of LINKS, Inc. and Schoolfield Elementary have established a STEM program to stimulate student’s interest and engagement in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The after-school enrichment program is open to all third, fourth and fifth grade students. Students will engage in rigorous academics, leadership development, technology development, and team building skills.
